"But He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me" (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Lord, sometimes I feel so ill-equipped to handle the challenges that come my way. I am so weak and powerless. However, your word tells me that it is in my weakness that your power is demonstrated! Work through me, Lord! I am willingly stepping out of the way so your power and your strength will be perfected. May your name will be glorified today! Thank you for your presence in my life! In Jesus' name, amen.

ReplyDeleteI too feel often ill-equipped. May I always step out of the way that He may use me.
I think that so often we strive to do things in our own strength and feel exhausted, frustrated and defeated. However, when we turn things over to God, allowing Him to work, His strength shines through! Blessings, Iris!
DeleteAMEN! Perfect prayer for me today - life can feel so over whelming and consuming, and just clearing my head to form a prayer is often too much - my prayers are often the lame kind of "please please help me Lord" Thank you for clearing my head with this prayer today and reminding me that the Lord is my strength

Thanks for stopping by today to pray! I know what you mean about the "please, please help me Lord" kind of prayer...but no matter what kind of prayer we pray, God sees right to our heart! More times than not, my prayers don't actually form words...but I am confident knowing that God knows exactly what I need! He is so great! Blessings to you, Marissa!
DeleteI am so weak today Joan... trusting God for an impossible situation. Thank you for your prayer.
ReplyDeleteWhat seems impossible is all in God's control for nothing is impossible for Him!
